Mineral Crystal Polishing

Mineral Crystal Polishing

Restoration of a scratched mineral-glass crystal to a clear, legible condition using progressive polishing compounds. Unlike sapphire, mineral glass responds well to careful polishing, and many surface-level scratches can be significantly reduced or removed entirely.

What's Included

  • Initial assessment of scratch depth and feasibility
  • Progressive compound polishing
  • Careful edge work to maintain proper fit
  • Final clarity inspection

Important Notes

Limitations: Deep chips or cracks require replacement rather than polishing. We assess each crystal before beginning work to determine if polishing is appropriate.

Best suited for: Watches with mineral crystals that have accumulated surface wear marks over time but remain structurally sound.
